In Creo parametric, edge preparation is located "inside" the Flange or Flat-KE.
This results in Problems for edge- and corner-preparations that depend on both Flanges.... and most of them I do are depending on both flanges!
For excample, you will not be able to build a closed edge (like Picture) using two separate Flange-KE with adequate work
You will have to reduce the base by (bend radius + thickness), add two flange-KE and then extend each of them to meet at the corner. Repeat this if you have multi-bend-flange-KE.
So, now... Whatif I change the sheets thickness?
you will have to overwork each single KE
sorry for mentioning an other CAD-System, but using HiCAD it is more comfortable, there are separate functions for creating edges like this (independent how the flange was created before)
provide separate functions for "edge preparation" (e.g. closed edge with/without gap or overlapping) and trimming flanges together (e.g. mitre with/without gap)
