Show/Hide a cross-hatch in one drawing view from a sketch in a model

Show/Hide a cross-hatch in one drawing view from a sketch in a model

We've made a sketch in the model and changed the properties to be a cross-hatch. We now want this cross-hatch to be shown/hidden on SOME of the views in the drawing. However, it doesn't seem like we can do this? A cosmetic sketch could be an alternative, but what if this model is already released in Windchill as a regular sketch? How can we hide the hatch that was created from the regular sketch? Hiding a curves layer does not hide the cross-hatch either, just the edges around the cross-hatch. It would be nice to control these cross-hatches better in Creo, like the other cross-hatch mechanisms available.

What we do is make the sketch in the model and then in the drawing go to the Sketch tab in the Ribbon and turn on Parametric Sketch in the Settings group. Then in the Sketching group using the Use Edge command (on the Edge dropdown list) to "project" the sketch lines into the drawing view and while the lines are still selected click on the Hatch/Fill command. Then we hide the model sketch.
