From time to time we put MIN or MAX dimensions on drawings, for example an included angle where the radius cannot exceed a certain value but can be as small as the fabricator would like. The issue is that we want to keep the model at nominal, and don't want to change the model to be our MAX or MIN, especially since most of our suppliers build tooling off the model (and may or may not always look at the prints early in the phases). We'd like to find an easy way to show ONLY the MIN or MAX but not both. I learned from a PTC ticket that this is not an available feature in Creo currently.
I'd like to see these options in the drop down in "Tolerance Mode" section of the Dimension Properties:
- Show MAX only
- Show MIN only
This way, you can still define the limits but only show one or the other, to keep the drawing cleaner.
