Stop forcing customers to purchase with a subscription license option only. No one believes your propaganda of the so called benefits to customers. Your competitors such as SolidWorks and SolidEdge offer subscriptions as AN OPTION, but, they still sell perpetual license as well. In fact, there is no price increase for wanting perpetual, there is no threats of withholding functionality because an existing customers does not want to switch..... and the approach they take with subscriptions can be month to month (SolidEdge) or at three months at a time (SolidWorks), and neither forces a written letter 60 days in advance if a customer does not to automatically renew.
WOW, imagine the PTC, your competitors actually know what there customers want, and they actually listen!!! Do you (PTC) remember the days when you listened to your customers? Do you (PTC) remember the days when PTC led the CAD market, and all your competitors would follow you? Stop trying to follow what others are doing and start leading the market by example again.
