Template Format functionality

Template Format functionality

While making templates there is no model present.  When adding callout &ptc_wm_version for the solid model the template adds ":D" suffix, because there is no model present that has that parameter, so it defaults to the drawing.  To get around this you have to take the Creo session offline for each formate/template your company has.

It seems like going in to the Template Application should create the environment necessary to make a template, and not have to go through a long arduous path of taking it session offline.

The idea is to fix Template Application

If you temporarily add a model to the drawing, you will have access to the model parameters as well as drawing programming.  Once you have finished, delete the model, change to the Template Application and save.  Not really a fix, but perhaps a bit less work than taking the file offline.
