The length of the wire of a spring (constant or variable) cannot be measured in Creo 2.0.

However, this should be possible.

The workaround to calculate the length by dividing of volume by cross section or to measure the length by redefine the sketch in a quater circle is complicated.

You're right, thanks for your hints/ideas.

If "trajpar" or "curve from equation" are used, the length can be measured easily.

But our template are created with command "helical sweep", because it's easy to use for all of our users.
