Tolerance table support for the ANSI/ASME tolerancing standard

Tolerance table support for the ANSI/ASME tolerancing standard

When you set the tolerancing standard for a part to ANSI in Creo Parametric, the tolerance tables are disabled. However, the ASME/ANSI standard supports metric limits and fits tables for holes and shafts. Thus, tolerance tables function should be supported for the ANSI standard.

See ASME Y14.5M-1994, section 2.2.1.

I agree, this functionality needs to be supported to use tools like Sigmetrix's GD&T Advisor.  In order to get tolerance tables today you need to set the tolerance mode to ISO/DIN but then you can not apply ASME/ANSI GD&T callouts.

The other standard you would want to reference in support of this is ASME B4.1.
