Currently, there are no Toolkit functions for Repeat Regions on drawings, to

  • sort,
  • filter,
  • fix indexes
  • ...

Even setting a Repeat Region in a drawing table is not possible (see CS157928).

 

Please provide some more Toolkit functions, to deal with Repeat Regions!

Please provide repeat region relation support ASAP.... please, please, please!  While working on that, provide filter and attribute control.  Suggest you should cover everything.  I have been using trail files to select the region followed by C++ generated macros to accomplish the task... is very silly but is the only way to deal with PTC shortfall.

While the Toolkit libraries (C, C++, Java Object Toolkit) are extensive they do not cover all areas or may be limited in certain areas of Creo.  Repeat Regions is one such area that we have limited a set of API's.  With each release of Creo, we strive to reduce these gaps across Creo, allowing users that would like to customize Creo to have access to a wider range of APIs.  I have added this area to the list to address in a future release of Creo.
