Transparent faces which intersect cross-sections

It would be useful to have an option to make the faces which intersect a cross-section transparent. I frequently want to see 'behind' a face, so select it for a section view, but the view still displays the geometry which is incident with it.

For example, when arranging the contents of a container it is useful to see behind the internal wall faces. However, to achieve this in practice requires selecting a plane which is infinitesimally offset from the desired plane.

There is an option CAPPED_CLIP NO that will removed the "cap" of a cross-section. Unfortunately, when the section is exactly on a planar surface, display is flaky and as you rotate/pan/zoom the model, the "cap" will flicker on and off or show odd partial triangles. I think it is exactly the option you are looking for but it has video display issues.

I think for this specific example of a shipping container, I would just set the container with a color/transparency so I could always see thru it but that's would be a user preference instead of a solution to the specific request.

Thanks Stephen, I wasn't aware of that option. However, as you said it appears to be very temperamental and I can get it to partially work with 'normal' planar sections, but it does not work at all for Zones (which is what I was using in my example images). I guess my feature request is therefore a more robust implementation of this functionality.
