Two requests for improvement.

Quick access to drawing (.drw) that has the same name as the part / assembly.

Quick access to new drawing (.drw) with the same name as the part / assembly.

I tried to do with mapkeys and is not possible.

There are scripts in WWW, but should provide it PTC

I was successful in creating new drawings using an active part/assembly as reference with mapkeys.

I have created a default drawing, assembly. component search mapkey connected to icons that look in the active work area.

I believe this is a personal preference request.

There are many that have drawings named different than parts and to have PTC provide what you are asking locks these folks out.

That is what customization is about.

ps.  I fully agree that models/drawings should be named identical, but that is my "choice".

Of course support will not help you, this is customization ... unless you pay for it.

Here is what I have done for creating a drawing same name as active object.
