Untrim surface

I'd like to suggest an "untrim" functionallity, where we could select a surface with uncertain boundaries, to obtain a bigger surface with its max dimensions, keeping its topology. Like when we delete a boundary on Import Data Doctor.

You mean, you would like smth like this outside the IDD?
There is also the surface/ from surface (used to be snapshot surface) functionality in Independend geometry (former Scantools) where you can create an untrimmed -in this case new and independend- surface.

In Creo 3.0 you can untrim a surface after a Copy > Paste!
