Update Combined State in Drawing View when Combined State has changed in model

Update Combined State in Drawing View when Combined State has changed in model

It´s fundamental that the drawing could mauelly updated if a combined state in the model has been updated. Without this function MBD is not easy to use where drawing of a model is required.

Also it would be nessary that you can compare in the drawing what have been changed and the current state.

Yes, this functionality should have been implemented years ago.     It would be very helpful to be able to fully dimension the 3D model to preparer for future workflows, but then quickly and easily develop and maintain the drawing when the need arises.

This is becoming very important for my company. Is there any progress towards this functionality?

I agree. This is needed ASAP as companies shift from drawing to limited dimension drawings, to MBD and 3D PDF's or HTML 5.
We need this today. There is way to many clicks and guidance needed for those folks that are updating the drawing view(s).

Agree any movement towards utilizing MBD even when documenting via drawing should be much more seamless. Authoring in the model should always be encouraged and the disconnect currently discourages our users to follow that paradigm shift.

absolutely agree. what is the point of applications like GD&T advisor if the dimensions published and shown in the models can't be seamlessly transferred to the 2D drawing. The current methods make using GD&T advisor almost 195% the effort of just making a drawing manually

I agree with this!
