STL export profile doesn't include default Chord Height, Angle Control, or Step Size. It should. There is no setting available in Creo to set the default values. You have to click customize export every time to set the value
With the new module sold specifically for 3D printing, being able to generate better quality models should have been done already. I upvoted this because there is no config option (CS202236) to get the best quality stl (by entering 0 in the GUI and let the software decide the smallest it can do). Personally I could live with a config or profile method to do it, but if PTC wants to keep pushing their new module they should make the basics work well first and this product idea would be a good start.
I am up voting this idea for the implementation that @jroegner mentioned. That is there should be an option to just output the highest quality (smallest size triangles) that the software can do.
