With Creo 7 has come a new behavior of displaying UI windows when running mapkeys. There is a legacy config option visible_mapkeys to make UI elements invisible when invoked from mapkeys but it only affects menu manager UI elements which are not really part of the GUI any more. With the migration of the UI it no longer addresses the issue (and has not going back to WF release).
I propose that the config option functionality be updated to deal with all UI elements being displayed when invoked from a mapkey.
