Creo 2 is still widely used, but even with the Interface for UG license it can only open up to NX version 8. This is something that should be updated in later date codes as new versions of NX become available. Same for other applications. As it stands, it appears this functionality in Creo 2 has not been updated since M010. If the feature is going to be useful and continue to be paid for, it needs to support modern versions without the need to upgrade Creo to a version we cannot use, or are not ready to use.
UPDATE: The documentation for this is terrible. Apparently the central document for version support is out of date and Creo 2 M150 supports NX 9. So it got updated, but to an out of date version? A better document is CS134024.
