Currently in Creo 4.0 M040. When creating a revolve feature you must create a solid line on the axis of revolution for the sketch to be determined as closed. This is a waste of time, and just more items to clutter the display. If the endpoints of a continuous curve lie on the axis of revolution consider it closed.
