I can create a configuration from an animation, but I can't use existing configurations to define an animation. Usually when we design, configurations are created early because we have lots of moving parts and we need to make sure that there is no interference at various steps. Later, we usually look at animating to make sure that we haven't missed anything in between the configurations. It would be very helpful to be able to use the information that we already have (the configurations) to create the animations.
