We export FIF (.fif) files to send down to automated tube benders. Today, the creation of those files is done manually from an active Creo Parametric session. That creates some limitations and risks we'd like to avoid.
This is a request to be able to use the Windchill Visualization Server (WVS) to publish FIF files from a Creo assembly in Windchill. Similar to using the WVS for STEP file creation.
I realize that there are some non-trivial technical issues that will need to be addressed, but we think the value exists. This enhancement would free up our users for more important work, allow for more consistency (e.g., settings, file name convention, location of attached files), faster speed, etc.
