User-defined measures should "recognize" excluded elements

User-defined measures should "recognize" excluded elements

Optimizations are often necessarily based on user-defined measures such as: von_mises_of_shell1<64000 lb/in^2.

In today's Creo Simulate, any small edge or point that has a singularity, negates the ability to use optimization because the measure is looking at the maximum... and that maximum is at a singularity (with bogus stress values).

If a user selects such an edge or point to be "excluded", then measures including those excluded features should also ignore their values. In other words, if I am optimizing a shell thickness so that the shell's von mises does not exceed 64000 psi, and I have already "told Creo" to exclude certain junk locations, then I want the measure to be monitoring all locations of the shell EXCEPT for the excluded geometry.
