Currently if you want to create datum features based on copied geometry in the skeleton to help in creating your model files it would be nice to keep those datum features in the skeleton and not clutter your main model tree. The only problem is that when you try to use them in the main model to help create or place components CREO will allow you to do it without complaining. It's only when you realize your having model performance issues due to that you ending up creating circular references within your assembly because skeleton and model files are apparently treated separately even though the references are contained in the same model..It would be a nice to have that feature. Or at least a warning letting the user know that you just created a circular reference.
