The introduction of the Shown Items layer which at Creo 4 is causing mass clutter in higher level assemblies. Our users very frequently leave datums and other clutter on this layer. When our senior engineers open higher level assemblies, they are overwhelmed by the accumulated clutter from this behavior.
We need a Modelcheck command to enable us to flag models (in which this layer contains any items) with a warning or an error. Note that other users have already noted this problem (refer to CS295294 article).
