Currently, the message "Material XXXX was assigned to the part" will appear whenever an instance has a different PTC_MATERIAL parameter than the generic. This is VERY problematic with hardware. Lets say the generic screw has a PTC_MATERIAL of Bronze and 40 of the instances have a PTC_MATERIAL of steel, every time any of those instances are opened the warning message will appear. This becomes very troublesome in large assemblies with many hardware components. When opening the assembly, hundreds of these messages will be displayed, hiding many of the important errors/messages that you are trying to read. This message should not be displayed in this scenario, where there is really no material change occurring in these instances.
Original case number was 11867056, where these messages would appear every time there was a regeneration. The problem still persists when opening the assembly model.
