Would like to have custom symbols as fix text in dimensions

Would liek the ability to easily create custom symbols to use exactly as the standard symbols in text/dimension fix text etc. Customer has a custom symbol he uses to mark dimensions, but these are separate sketches and hence dont move when you move the dimension.

I just tried to do this yesterday in Creo Parametric to show modifications on a drawing. I obviously noticed it was not possible !!

If you create a custom symbol using a symbol instead of a sketch, you can group it with the dimension so that it is moved when the dimension is moved. Creating a custom symbol is easy using the Define Template command.
