it will be interesting and usefull to have the possibility in the 3D MBD , to attach a symbol on an 3D annotation (dimension or Gtol).
Actually it's possible only on the drawing.
The functionality to relate (offset) symbols & surface finish to other annotations in MBD was delivered in Creo 10.
The relevant toolkit APIs for this functionality are supported as well.
