In response to document CS67713, there should be a setting developed to allow "negative" lower tolerance values as a default.  Currently, if you have a "-.000" lower tolerance and change one digit, the sign flips to positive.  This functionality is fine for those using metric tolerances but not for everyone.   A config setting to set lower tolerance to negative as default should be developed.

Agree 100%, I can't count how many times users end up with a positive lower limit when they wanted a negative lower limit.

Default should be negative, if you want a positive lower limit then you should be required to prefix with "+"
