As long as I'm dreaming about improved thread tools, I would also love to see a better way to deal with thread definition than the tables in the ma_customize file. Not only should it be able to deal with standard thread definitions, but also custom thread sizes. One tool I use that I find very valuable is ME ThreadPal - perhaps a partnership could be hammered out with http://closetolerancesoftware.com
A limitation in the current Machining Outer Threads tool is that it expects the outer thread OD to be nominal, rather than per-spec, i.e. the tool expects a 1/4-20 thread to be applied to a Ø.250 cylinder, when in reality a 1/4-20 male thread should measure Ø.2448.
