Because our company has 2 "sister" brands, we do many assemblies that are identical, except assembly "X" will have a red part for one brand, and assembly "Y" will substitute that same part in yellow for our other brand. But the other 50 components in assemblies "X" & "Y" are the same.
My request: I would like a way to copy the explode state locations from assembly "X" to assembly "Y" for all the parts that are common to the two assemblies.
to elaborate: suppose I spend the time to make my explode state and offset lines in "X", and I now need to recreate that explode state for "Y". I'd like to be able to tell Creo: for every component in "Y", see if it is in "X", if so, find its exploded location in "X", and make its exploded location in "Y" the exact same place.
