creating new parameter(s) in the model tree

If you have a model tree with paramter columns and a part dosn't has the parameter in the column you can click in the cell and an dialog for creating this parameter appears. But why the type of the new parameter is as default always "REAL" and not the type like in other parts? The default cell in the dialog should be the box for the value, then you could type the valu, then >ENTER< and ready!

I suppose it is not actually clear what the parameter type should be... because different parts can have parameters with the same name but of different types.

I think a good functionality would be to get the "type" from the parent assembly, perhaps by having a config.pro option:

new_parameters_inherit_type_from_parent_assembly yes* (no - user has to specify the type, just like the case currently).

Another way would be to be able to specify the type when defining the model tree columns:
