creo drafting broken view

1. Describe your environment: What is your industry? What is your role in your organization? Describe your stakeholders.
Hello I am Kamlesh Kailas Joshi from GMMSPL (one of the value added reseller of PTC)

2. What version of Creo Parametric are you currently running?
I am currently using the Creo 8.0.3.0
3. Describe the problem you are trying to solve. Please include detailed documentation such as screenshots, images or video.

During the creation of the Broken view, the broken line does not extend from the edge of geometry, it only showcases what it cut on geometry.

So following image I have attached for your understanding.

1st scenario which is part of the Creo and 2nd scenario available with other CAD software.

Dear team till the time Creo does not provide the 2nd scenario as per the attached image.

And lot of designers are seeking for this kind of enhancement.

so request you to acknowledge it.

Looking at ASME Y14.3-2003, figure 58 shows different broken view representations and they all only show the break curves extending to the edges of the geometry.

Yes, that is correct, Thank you for the information. But some of the designer want this feature for better understanding than this.

If it will come then it would be better.
