I came from Creo Direct where any view that needed updating would show the icon for the specific view in the drawing tree a color that indicated it needed to be updated.

 

It would be great if Creo Parametric could do the same thing that way with large assemblies I could have the automatic update for drawings set to "no" in case of long drawing view update times for large assemblies
