When routing cables and wires using Creo Schematics logical datas, Creo Parametric creates 3D annotations for designated connectors (with their logical name).
We have no control on how these annotations are created. To clean up the display, we have to move manually each annotation to place it where we want in the displayed view.
If we arrange all the annotations for a specific orientation, their location is not valid anymore when rotationg the model. So it’s a lot of work for result that is difficult to use.
When checking this assembly in PDMLink, the assembly is published to create the viewable version of it.
This viewable contains the cabling 3D annotations and they are very difficult to use because :
So it’s very difficult to use Creo View to review a large harness.
It would be more productive to be able to use the search tool to easily identify a connector.
It also would be nice to have some additionnal settings in Creo Parametric to control length of leaders for cabling 3D annotations so that most of them would be closer to their connector.
