Make double-click action possible on features in model tree to show dimensions. Features are not always visible for double-clicking modification in graphic environment (hidden curves for example). Right mouse button action is not as straight forward as double-clicking. ... View more

There are times when we may need to work in our model and use sheetmetal features for our regular parts. Either we are designing a model and a sheetmetal feature would help get the right design intent, or we are working on an imported features and would like to manipulate, adjust or fix them using a sheetmetal feature. I understand that a non-sheetmetal body shouldn't merge into a sheetmetal body. However, we should allow a sheetmetal body to merge into a non-sheetmetal body.   Below is an imported component that is a solid (non-sheetmetal body). If any of the flanges imported with an issue, one approach could be to recreate the flange with a flange tool.    Here is just a random model I threw together showing a flange being used in a non-sheetmetal part. Currently, there is a ModelCHECK configuration option in the condition.mcc file called MODEL_TYPE.  And it allows the following 8 values: PRT_SOLID PRT_SHEETMETAL PRT_SKELETON PRT_PIPE PRT_HARNESS ASM_DESIGN ASM_INTERCHANGE ASM_MOLD_LAYOUT We'd like to request that this list includes additional model types - notably entities created in the piping module, harness assemblies, and envelope models.  We'd like to run different ModelCHECK items on them based on their model types. Right now, we are looking at using a parameter as a way to differentiate model types that are not part of the 8 supported types shown above.  But we'd rather have PTC support it though ModelCHECK. With Creo 2.0, some handles have disappeared of certain 2D elements like dimensions and witness lines (still OK for notes moves). The handles have been replaced by combining moves and SHIFT   and/or   CTRL   and/or    ALT  or other right click actions (create witness line for example). We have lost the visual possibilities of modifications like in Creo/Elements Pro 5.0 drawings. We would very much appreciate to have ALL the 2D handles back in Creo 2.0. Need a certain amount of irregularity in patterns. For example: patterns letting you define regular spacing between features and the possibility to change diameter. Vote for the "Sketched Point" tool to be added to Creo (useful tool brought back from WildFire4). With Creo5, we have lost the functionality of sketching datum points directly and independently from "Sketch" tool. - Sketched Points are displayed as “curves” in model tree. Wireframe font named “font” is too segmented. We need a smooth font with a minimum of entities. A better Pro/E or Creo font should be created or the original Pro/E “font” modified. In the new Creo 2.0 Version M050 it´s possible to set in the Cross section the Dragger. The Dragger allows to change the position in different directions. The value of the changes wont´t be saved. When I go out of menu and again (edit definition) in, the Value is don´t set. If the changes are accidently saved from the "Dragger", I don´t see it in the "View Manager". The changes from the Dragger are set also in the drawing. Some users make use of the Dragger to see details of the part or the assembly, like the "visibilities" tool in Wildfire 4 It should be a small Icon in the View Manager, that shows me the cross section is changed with the Dragger. When you make an Fusion/heritage function with the option Add geometry to body and then create a new body, it's not easy to return back to the addition to an existing body. You have to uncheck, then you have to remove body name and only after you can select on the tree model the existing body. May it be possible to simplify the process ?? For example if we uncheck "create a new body", automaticaly the body is removed and hand is given to select existing body !! 3. Are you using a workaround? If yes, please describe it. 4.
