I would insert a UDF to a new part, without any relations from creation part. Currently there is no way in Creo 7 to do this.

In the automotive industry, UDFs are used for exampel for  undercuts, center holes and gears.

good morning and thanks for your hint.

At the moment it is not possible to insert a UDF into a Creo7 part without including all the relations from the creation part. In this case, invalid and no longer permissible relations are drawn into a new part.

We have been using these UDFs for a very long time and it is not possible to recreate these UDFs for each new Creo release. There are not two UDFs but about 190. It would take a lot of time to generate them again.

At Volkswagen, these are recognized by ModelCheck and then have to be commented out again by the user. This leads to additional work and irritation for users.
