merge multiple drawings into a drawing in a single step

After creating separate drawing sheets for every component  we merge all of them in the 1st drawing sheet using insert-import data/drwaing. But we can add just one drawing data at a time i.e we are not able to select multiple drawing files at one time. It will be very helpful if multiple files can be selected at a time.

Why are you doing this? There is no advantage to putting all drawings in a single file if they are standalone components. If they are dash numbers of a weldment, just detail them on subsequent sheets in the weldment drawing file.

Merging drawing files could lead to some unassociated dimensions, etc.

I don't know about the OP but sometimes we do this with large assembly drawings. It can be more efficient to detail individual sheets and then merge at the end.

@BenLoosli  @Chris3 We have a drawing file which has assembly sheet along with other sheets containing the component drawings. So we have made templates for each size(A0,A1,A2,A4) and there is one limitation in creo that we cannot call a new template for subsequent sheets in the same drawing file. So we make separate drawing files for each component and later merge them.
