as in topic I think we should have option to choose if we wish to store trail files or not...

Yes, I would like to turn of trail files if I choose.    I get sick of finding them all over taking up space and require anti-virus time and search time.

Set the config option "trail_dir" to a dedicated folder for your trail files.  Then they won't be all over the place and you can easily clean them up with the purge command on that folder.  We've set a task at startup to run the Spekan Purge utility on our trail folder to clean out all but the last 5 or 10 trail files.

Thanks Doug.  We do have it set for C:\Temp.  We need to take the time to get something setup to clean.   I could still vote for having a setting to turn on and off.

Yeah, I'm not sure what good they are for every session. Of course, when you need them you won't know ahead of time that you did and turn them on.

On the other hand, I can't remember the last time I used one successfully.
