As of today Creo support multiple sketch entities (several circles for instance ) for thin extrude feature.
however, when trying to apply thin extrude on open ended entity only one open ended entity is acceptable.
having this functionality is crucial for RF box's design.
please see the below picture - it represent a design use case where you need to create many internal wall in order to distinguish between frequencies.
Today in order to achieve desire result user tend to act in one of the following method:
- create the sketch with rectangles rather than lines (which is bad )
- create many features (which is tedious).
adding the capability of supporting multiple open ended entities in the sketch will save the user considerable amount of time.
It would even make it more friendly to use Creo as an architecture CAD package, making it a lot easier to design walls and avoiding the user to have to manually generate the width of a wall, speeding up tremendously design time.
