We are using imperial threads a lot, e.g. 3/8-16 UNC. When we create it with the hole manager and select it on the drawing with "show model annotation" we can only see the nominal metric dimension. We would like to see the actual thread name, like mentioned before. We know that it is possible to show the thread note on the drawing, but this is not the way we want to show the dimension of a thread on the drawing. According to VSM standards compendium it is allowed as simplified dimension but we usually create drawings not simplified.
With a created (added dimension) on the drawing it is possible to replace @D with @o and then type the threads name. Why isn't this possible with a driven dimension from the model? In this case with the thread mean diameter?
