Question from Drew: When an assembly is created using multi-body, and each of the bodies is checked into Windchill as separate parts, can other parts be imported into the multi-body assembly? For example, importing a bolt and nut to the multibody sheetmetal part you were showing.
Answer: Adding a bolt and nut would happen at the assembly level and not in a multi-body part. We might need to know more about the use case.

Question from Michael: When you use multi-body, can you assign WTParts to the individual bodies, or just to the model? From a BOM perspective, the example you were showing would be a structure with multiple parts - but how does that work with associations?
Answer: The object get 1 WTParts by default. Otherwise, you can designate a body so that when everything gets checked in, Windchill will recognize the multiple bodies without being multiple parts.
Question from Michael: For the inseparable assembly, it makes sense to have the single WTPart and single CAD model. But in the sheetmetal example, there is one CAD part model - or does it actually create a separate CAD part for each designated body? In other words, if Body 2 has its own WTPart and you want to write an ECR to make a change, are you able to only change the CAD for Body 2 or do you end up changing the entire part with all the bodies?
Answer: The sheetmetal part is made up of multiple bodies/ If you create an ECR on a single body, this is also impacting the overarching part, similar to changing a part in an assembly.
