Question from Anonymous: Why is the demonstration on Creo Schematic 7.0 and not Creo Schematic 8.0?
Answer: For what we are showing now the functionality and UI are the same. We will point out if there is a difference between versions.
Webcast Q&A
Question from Jon: Is PTC doing MBE (model based environment)?
Answer: Yes, in Creo Parametric we are.
@RyanL.Butcher , @Lino_Tozzi , its been a year since this video was published. WGM has been ended and I've checked Virtual Interconnect's website. There is no mention of an integration to Windchill promised on their website. News has not seen an update since 2012. Links to libraries do not work. How does one go about learning more from their company since it seems this product relies totally on them? I am not getting a sense that they are in it for the long haul to commit to using Creo Schematics.
@avillanueva @Lino_Tozzi. The information that you are looking for is in the Virtual Interconnect Tips & Techniques session that we did a couple months ago . Please review this recording and you will find the information you are looing for.
Virtual Interconnect is a close partner of PTC and currently develops the Creo Harness Manufacturing Extension, eSimulate for Creo Schematics and the WNCBridge which replaces the old PTC Workgroup Manager for Schematics. WNCBridge is released and in use today.
