Question from KevinIs there a config setting that will copy geometry when external references are created?

Answer:  Not an option to automatically copy geometry any time an external reference is made.  However, using an advanced assembly technique you can accomplish this.  Here is a link to the Advanced Assembly T&T session for your reference.  https://community.ptc.com/t5/Creo-Parametric-Tips/Creo-Advanced-Assembly-Tips-amp-Techniques-Session-Recording/m-p/739495#M670

Webcast Q&A

Question from MarkCan Creo be used to edit automotive class A surfaces?  Or is surfacing software like Alias serve a different market segment?

Answer:  Yes, it is best to create the natively in a single tool (Creo Parametric/ISDX).  It is difficult to import class A surfaces and get good quality.

Webcast Q&A

Question from RaghuIs all the functionality shown today included in all licenses of Creo, including the most basic one?

Answer:  Yes, with SolidWorks and CATIA for United collaboration.  Importing any native file format is also in all current packages.  Import Data Doctor is in every license we sell currently.

I wanted to watch the Import Data Doctor video today and there is audio only.
