Unconventional modeling with Creo

One example of Unconventional modeling with Creo

Comments

Gotta say, that is a cool way to generate some really crazy twisted wire configurations. And here I was doing them using mathematical equations and curves. Easily modifiable, too.

That's really cool 🙂

One question: since you were using Creo 7.0, have you considered doing this using different bodies instead of going through assembly? With multibody you might contain everything in a single part and avoid external refs to source sheetmetal model and assembly.

With this method, you can do it not only in Creo 7 but also with Creo 4 (for example) - universal method.

if I will use Creo 7 multi-body design, it will be not universal example 🙂

Thanks, that's what I thought (that you wanted to show version-independent method).

I'm not sure I have a practical use for it in my normal workday but it sure is a good demo.
