Creo View allows you to create a "3D Note" (text at a location in 3D space) by using the interactive [Markup][Note] and [Markup][Note with Leader] functionalities.
Using Creo View Java Toolkit, one can create "Point" or "Circle"or "Leader Line" annotations as illustrated in the AnnotationExample.java test application.
We would like the annotation APIs to be expanded so that one can programmatically create the equivalent of [Markup][Note] and [Markup][Note with Leader].
Has anyone created a work around for this when using the Creo View Java Toolkit?
It seems like having these basic functions should be included in a toolkit when you are up to version 5 of the product.
This feature would be an excellent addition. I know I would like to see this implemented as well as my team mates
We are a large aerospace company working to implement an enterprise-wide MBD initiative, and this functionality is needed to help annotate 3D graphics that supplement component assembly instructions used by techs on the factory floor.
