Alpha Channel or transparent background for exportet pictures (svg or png)

Hi all, we want export the figures in svg- or png-files with a transparent background. This is important to implement the pictures in other programs (WWW, Photoshop, Word, ....) without the background of Illustrate. Please vote for this feature for future releases.

I see the need to have more export image type options. EMF is one that we use often with MS Word documents.

When using Microsoft Word - Image that are prepared should be EMF filetypes.

In 1993, the 32-bit version of Win32/GDI introduced the Enhanced Metafile (EMF), a newer version with additional commands. EMF is also used as a graphics language for printer drivers. Microsoft recommends that "Windows-format" (WMF) functions only "rarely" be used and "enhanced-format" (EMF) functions be used instead.

This essential basic feature is absolutely needed.

We export images from Creo/View all the time, and have to manually remove the solid background from each image in Photoshop for further use. This is not only extremely time-consuming, but also leads to poor, pixelated quality of the edges.

The lack of this feature has been stated for many years all over the Community and Ideas pages.

Something has to finally be done about this.
