I would be able to create callout on the parts and the assembly in the same view

4. What is the use case for your organization?

"How to put on the same picture attributes callout of parts and assembly ?"

"1,2,3,4" attribute for the parts
"Hood" attribute for the assembly
But for the assembly I have to create/write it manually...
PTC solution consist of combining children in the structure, but I need to see components independently
The assembly is not recognized as an entity, and Illustrate can't put balloons if there are no geometry...

Similar problem for explode lines...

Nowaday we need to create a .c3di for the kit in the assembly, and another one the expose the components inside the kit...

5. What business value would your suggestion represent for your organization?

No need to manipulate the SBOM in order to modify/combine chlidren
Minimise the number of .c3di
People without sbom License can't change it at all !

I have similar problem...

Here what developer shoud do:

1.Enable showing both asm's and parts on the same figure.

2.Add "dash item" command when editing the table - like in Creo Parametric- this will make the table and the drawing dynamic.

Additonal comment:

VERY!!!! Helpfull will be allowing ussers to combine asm's not only in edit structure tab but also in main tab - Home tab.

Combining elements in Edit Structure tab will affect whole mashine - like weldments.

Combining elements in Home tab will affect only specific figure. This will allow to show on figure 1 general overview with main asm's and on the figure nr 2 parts for particular asm's, not going back and forth to Edit Structure Tab.

Also it's very uncomfortable when you picking the asm's which need to be itemized. What if your figure is combine with several pars/asm?
You need to be able to pick all of them!

You can make a separate part/asm in Editing the Structure tab and put there all your parts, but this makes you original structure unordered.
