In some situations it would be nice to keep Illustrate open without viewing a specific .c3di file (other than when the program initially opens). I found it is impossible to close a .c3di file (for instance to rename it in a file explorer) without either opening a different file, or exiting the program. It's not a major concern, but it seems like a simple functionality.
