Configurable lines in Creo Schematics

Configurable lines in Creo Schematics

Hello PTC Community,

The possibility for changing the properties of a lines (thickness in dpi or similar) or dotted lines (dot pitch, spot size) will be a useful feature in Creo Schematics. Actually it is possible to change the thickness of lines just by using 3 types (thin, medium, thick). And a dotted line looks like a dashed line. The dots are more lines than dots. I think that is not very flexible.

Sincerely

Uwe

We get 50 types of lines that show the program's roots as a 2D mechanical drawing program.

As you point out, only 3-4 of these are actually useful in drawing schematics and the scale of items used in schematics.

Allowing line widths be defined as a measurement along with the dash length and repeat (a dot is really just a short dash).

A big problem is how do you handle the display/printing of things when they become smaller than the resolution of the viewing item.
