Current status: When geometry is selected from viewing area with pressed mouse button, only the „parts with geometry“ elements in BOM get selected (without parent object).
How it should work: Creo Illustrate does not recognize, that all „parts with geometry“ of a „parent“ are selected, thus the parent part should be selected, as well.
Additional information: This issue brings you into trouble if you try to build an sBOM as a substract out of an extensive eBOM. In this case you markup many „parts with geometry“ out of different „parents“. But only the „parts with geometry“ get linked to sBOM. Thus you loose a very important structure element.
