Creo View Adapters: Add Image relationships (WTParts) in the representations of EPMDocument (configurable)

Related to case C11696456:

How to configure adapters to store in the representation WTPart's information linked with "Image" relationship. For example part_number attribute. Only Owner relationship are now managed.

The response was:

Is not possible for now, it is Working as designed.

I would like to have a preference, a property or something to configure the behaviour in the Creo View Adapter Configuration.

Thanks for creating the idea Nicola. I've had numerous discussions with PTC PLM for Creo View on this topic and made comments to the MBD Tech Committee. The "image" association is used to sum up the wtpart quantities when the assembly model contains multiple objects with unique file names but desiring the same part number (ie: flexible models like hosing, piping, door mold, etc). It is not possible to use the wtpart attributes from "image related" objects in Creo View or Creo Illustrate because those "image related" models have no wtpart attributes.

This functionality was implemented in Windchill 11.2.0.0 and can be enabled with the wvs.properties setting:

edrload.epmdocument.includeimagepartproperties=true
