Creo View Express to Read Subassemblys Simplified Reps.

The Creo View Express 3.0 does not show Simplified reps created in Subassemblies. That results in limited functionality of View Express.

We would like the People on site to view the Operation sequences. Those sequences have been created as simplified reps.

The current View Express dose not recognise simplified reps that have been created in subassemblies.

So unless the View Express recognise those, we at Mc Connell Dowell can not use View Express 3.0. since it shows only the simplified reps created in top assembly.

We try to use the full functionality of Creo but Creo fails us when we cannot  demonsrate / visually explain the operational sequences to our site team by the means of View Exress 3.0.

We can only hope this will be rectified in the near future.

A few questions...

What file format are you looking at in Creo View? .asm or PVZ?  If PVZ, are you publishing from Creo Parametric or from WC publisher?  Can you see the simplified reps in Creo View MCAD?
