If you use "File Open" it is possible to select files, which are saved in the working directory. But unfortunately it is not possible, to set the working directory as a user.

In contrast to Creo Parametric the function "set working directory" exists. So the user can easily set his working directory.

 

Current situation: Within the dropdown menu the option "Set Working Directory" does not exist. (see in comparison to Creo Parametric, where this option exists)

 

Target situation: In Creo View it is possible for the user to set his working directory. (e.g. as in Creo Parametric)

 

Analyse: The working directory could be set via the properties of the start icon for Creo View, if you set the attribute "Ausführen in" to your working directory. But this is not user friendly.
